1 I was thinking there’d be queues for Africa when the ferry arrived at the airport, but was pleasantly surprised to arrive at a satellite processing area where I simply checked in, handed over my single travel bag then cleared Customs & Immigration in less than 5 minutes - brilliant. From there it was free shuttle train ride into the airport terminal proper.
2 With a couple of hours before my flight, I availed myself of the complimentary "Qantas Hong Kong Lounge" invitation before boarding "QF98" back to Brisbane.
